Road Trip
a few weeks back.
just the two of us in the end.
exchanged cars..took a Wish and drove to KL!
i was the map reader, the note taker...the navigator.
checked into a hotel which we booked only a few hours before our arrival. hahaha we just wanna get outta singapore no matter what.
Kuala Lumpur
KLCC shopping was disappointing. i always thought of it to be "wow!!!". bought some little this and that junk. everyone keeps saying that i'll go crazy at the "GIRLS" shop.. but surprisingly, i didnt buy a single item from them. nothing there seem to interest me.
the hotel didnt have another night for us so we drove around and got a room at some budget hotel at sungi wang. all we wanted was a place to stay so we went for something cheap. itwas a bad choice. the toilet was so small, eerie and it had mossiac tiles....(not the vintage kinda look). ewwww... hot and cold water came from 2 different taps and i never got warm water. no water kettle, no utensils, no extra pillows etc. RM120 per night.
Genting
my first time taking these rides!
i went on the spaceshot..this ride whereby you go vertically up, some 548413214584651 stories high, count 10 seconds (i think), then drop you down. that ride made me teared and gave me jelly legs. plus im afaid of heights. i swear i hate it. then i took a roller coaster for the first tme in my life. madness. i think i've got a really weak heart.
but brave litle cindy :)
by the way, the weather looked like this:
and next, it was sorching hot!
Johor Barhu
dropped by to do some shopping.
the guy didnt endorse our passports on our way to singapore which ended us having to go back into JB once again.
got caught at the singapore custom for bringing in HELLO KITTY CHEWING GUM and POP POP (those small little white thing whereby it give a "pop" sound wen it hits the floor etc). we were suspected of bringing in explosive :\
