only 3 weeks of practice and they throw us down onto the dance floor for the Standard Waltz and Tango competition. my partner and i got into the quarter finals, semi finals and finals. we came in 5th for Waltz and 4th for Tango!!! yay! im disappointed that we didnt get top 3. oh well, everyone said its considered good since we've only been dancing for 3 weeks. looks like its gonna be competitive dancing for me now. i think i'm gonna move on to competitve latin as well. i've been doing social latin since i was 10. i finally get to do competitive. then again. i quite like ballroom dancing. so graceful :)
i have to thank my family, my partner's parents, instructor and all my fairy god mothers. they've been taking really good care of me these 3 weeks. my number one fairy god mother made me really nice breakfast on that day. sweet. and to G for everything. supportive and understanding. love.
