updates.
thursday
the usual outing day. went for dinner with elaine, germaine and cherleen. elaine and i went town after that. bought a number of stuff. we were tired so we sat at Orange Julius, outside Liat Towers, having Oreo Blizzard. elaine noticed that someone was using a laser pen to point at me. i realised after a while and it didnt stop. pointing at my legs, back, chest and face. we caught them. this stupid group of Malay guys. i'm not being racist here but don't these malay guys have something better to do. they were sitting on the stairs (outside DBS bank). they kept pointing at me. so irritating. we were nice and also, wearing skirts and dresses on that day, so we didnt scold them. i took a few snapshots of them. not too clear though, they were too far. i really had the urge to walk to them, take out my phone and take a picture.
friday was one of the bad days. rushed through my work so that i could can it in at 10pm. called bian rong at 8.45pm to let her know that i'll be going down to school. she told me to come another day cause she's going off and she can't wait. rah.
saturday
went to school around 1.30pm to hand in my work. bian rong wasnt there. there was no lecturers or adminstrative assistant around. i saw vernon. he said NO when i asked if he could let me into the office to place my work on bian rong's desk. he said students are not allowed to enter. fine. i then asked kindly if he could put it for me on bian rong's desk and he say NO cause only the lecturer in charge can accept it personally. no other lecturers can help collect the student's work. not even help to place it on the desk.
come on Nafa, you won't let me in, and you don't wanna help me!
what the hell. you mean i'll have to wait till i see the lecturer in charge?!?!
thank God i saw Ming and i asked him to help me hand in later on.
Rushed down for my cousin's church wedding. haven't seen her before. well, maybe i have, just that i don't recognise her. Dallas & Jayne, so every sheet of paper has "-DJ-"...
the church wedding wasn't that fun. it was hyms and readings and talking etc. the nicest part was when Dallas, the groom, sang the song that he wrote for his bride, Jayne. my grandmother fell asleep cause she didnt understand. so whenever we stood up, i'd tell her in cantonese "we're gonna sing a song".. :D
took the usual Chang family photo. i realised i do have quite a number of uncles, aunties, and cousins. one of my auntie told my mum that she remembered seeing me on that newspaper article. she recognised me and she kept that article! i heard that one of my cousin is a DJ (its not Dallas & Jayne).. and he doesn't look too bad. he didnt attend the service this afternoon. he last time i saw him was about 7 years ago. i don't remember how he look like.
went straight home cause my dad gotta pack his stuff. he left for Australia at 7pm. almost 2 weeks of work in Australia. i doubt he'll buy me any surf stuff. if he does, probably a Roxy stuff. that reminds me, i haven't been wearing my Roxy tees for such a long time.
i forgot to mention that i got a new phone. Nokia 6670. no big deal but i like it cause of it's functions. almost everything, no 3G. not necessary anyway. got a DKNY tee, 2 pairs of glittery slippers...........
people tend to ask me why do i need two handphones and two handphone lines. well, i don't know either. i'm starting to find it a hassle. people don't know which number to call/message, i have to bring two phones out, paying extra bills, troublesome!!! i'll probably pass one line to my brother.
yeah. Nokia 6670 & Samsung E600C (the value dropped. its only worth $150 now). damn.
i'll be attending Dallas & Jayne's wedding dinner later on. gonna wear something simple cause i noticed that not many dress up. some even came in t-shirts and shorts. hello...its someone's wedding and you know them. make an effort to dress up! i wore a pair of white pants and one of my favourite top.
