My Mum's the Sweetest Person in My Life.

i've been wanting Bubble Tea really badly for a week (i drink 2 cups of bubble tea each week) and i didnt have time to buy it (its only 3 bus stops away from my house and i still don't make an effort to go. the bubble tea only cost a dollar and its as good as those from CoolStation, Milkgirl, Quickly, HappyCup etc. those were the days.)
when i woke up, i saw lunch with a cup of my favourite bubble tea beside it. my mum went to buy it this morning. so sweet of her. i did not even ask her to get it for me. she knows me best. better than me knowing myself.

i'm so pleased with myself. firstly, i made an effort to take pictures for my research and secondly, i went to Chinatown with my mum to buy oriental-related stuff for my research. my mum's so sweet. she brought me to quite a number of shops. there was this particular shop that sells nice oriental buttons. i decided to look around first before going back and guess what happened? the shop was already closed when i got there. 20 minutes late. what a waste. the project is due on Monday and that shop doesn't open on Sundays. pouts.

my mum saw a shawl that she like but she thought it was rather expensive for that kinda fabric, so she didnt buy it. she tried it quite a number of times and i could tell that she really like it. such a sweet mum will definately have a sweet daughter like her, so i paid for it. afterall, she paid for everything at Chinatown and all those stuff that i've been printing at Nafa Shop.

my mum and i had dinner at Malan Noodle (Malan La Mian) for the first time. i don't like the noodles but the sides dishes were quite nice. we ordered the lamian, soup dumpling (xiaolongbao), century egg with tofa salad (a cold dish served with prawns), this deep fried nugget looking thing with Mango & prawn stuffing, and drinks. the bill was less than $30. thats really reasonable. i wouldn't mind having dim sum there weekly. i love dim sum.. i just cant resist Cantonese food! yummy-licious. yes, i'm cantonese.

im starting to love my mum a little more each day. what am i gonna do without her. my life would be colourless if she's not around. i ought to get her something really special this Mothers' Day and a manicure+pedicure done by me. (oh, did you know that i used to work as a manicurist during my holidays?).

how nice it would be to have a boyfriend as nice as my mum. but then, my family means the most (even though the chased me out). laughs.
